For the main part of my music video the actor will be male.
Steven Whitney.
As well as this, he also completed music at GCSE which means that he will be able to sing the song, rather than lip-sync, improving the accuracy and also to make the performance more engaging.
In addition to this, with the costume he is wearing - it will be something that the audience expects to see and I think that he is quite a relaxed person, which, in turn conforms to the genre of music.
Connor would also be another good option for the music video as he is quite a confident person. However, he isn't a confident singer which means that he might be unable to lip-sync the song correctly and may shy away from the camera when it is placed in front of him. This means that it will be a lot harder during the filming process if he becomes my final choice.
However, he has days off during the week which means that he would be available to use for the filming process.

Ben Phillips.
Ben is also another option as he will be available some days after school, however, this could be a problem as he may not be able to come to the school until later times and as it is filmed in the theatre - he may be unable to make it. On the positive though, he is quite confident and would be able to perform the song in front of a camera.
All in all, I will most likely use Steven as the main actor in my music video as he is available all day on a Monday and this means that he will be around for the filming process. As well as this, he is a confident performer and singer which is useful for the performance element of my music video. However, I will use the other two for extra filming that will be needed for certain sections during the overlaying of images.
These people are all comfortable around each other as well which means that there will be no awkwardness when filming and it will all happen naturally. However, I do need a female character for the performance.
Leanne Mitchell.
Leanne is a good option, for the female character, for the music video as she will feel comfortable around Steven and this will develop the characters further as they will be more believable. She is comfortable in front of a camera but not overly confident, however, this doesn't really matter as she will be featured in small sections.
Also, she has certain days off of her college course, meaning that she will be available during the day so that I can use her for the filming process.
